Class overview
Overview
Brella’s infant program supports a wide span of development with many exciting milestones,
including rolling over, first steps, first words and first friendships. Children go from observers to
experimenters, engaging in new experiences every day.
Flow of day
Infants at Brella follow individualized feeding and
sleeping schedules. During their waking hours, they are exposed to a variety of child-led and teacher-
guided learning experiences that promote the development of play, motor skills and mobility, and
trusting adult and peer relationships.
Curriculum
We teach children through guided and open-ended activities across a variety of subject matters and experiences. These explorations incite curiosity and develop proficiencies in cognitive thinking, language development, social and emotional skills, practical life skills, and fine and gross motor skills.

Brella’s preschool is full of imaginative
experiences, hands-on inquiry, and
socialization. Children at this age are engaged in learning moments and eager to be exposed to new
ideas or experiences.

Our daily flow includes a variety of child-led and teacher-led learning experiences that promote
social and emotional, cognitive, motor and practical life skills development. Children follow a set classroom schedule that includes learning experiences, morning and afternoon snack, lunch, and moments for quiet and rest.

Overview
Brella’s Pre-K program focuses on refining skills across all developmental domains and milestones in preparation for Kindergarten and beyond. Peer and teacher relationships strengthen through group and individual learning moments. We use children’s real world knowledge and experience to fuel their exploration in the classroom. Writing and word play kickstarts the reading journey. Children leaving the program will be prepared socially and academically for their next educational stage.
