Alessandra Pinheiro
Center Director
Ale has served in various teaching and administrative roles in both the private and public sectors for over 20 years. Her focus and passion has remained within the early childhood education field. She is here to support you and your child's transition into our program and throughout your journey with us.


Kimberly Gentle
Assistant Director
Kimberly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Communication from USC and been working in early childhood education for 31 years, a career that has allowed her to experience the joy of teaching in various educational settings. She is committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging for students, with diversity and inclusion being a passion. She enjoys arts and craft and party planning in her free time.


Elyse Bennett
Parent Education Director
Elyse, CLE, MSW received her Masters in Social Work at USC with an emphasis in Children and Families and her Lactation Educator Certification from UCLA. Elyse has been working with parents and children since 2000. Her experience as a mother of 2 children has led her to supporting other parents.


Leslie Velasquez
Center Experience Supervisor
Leslie has worked in Management & Education for the past 7 years, and holds a BA in Child and Adolescent Development from Cal State University Northridge. Seeing the joy on the children’s faces while walking in with their parents reassures me we are doing our best connecting what happens in the facility to the parents.

Evette Estrada
Preschool Lead Teacher, Lilac & Green Class
Evette has been working in early childhood education for almost 20 years, with a Child Development permit and over 34 course units in Child Development. One of her favorite things about working in early childhood education is seeing children grow and mature. In her free time, she loves to craft and adventure in the wilderness by going camping.


Michelle Ramos-Garcia
Preschool Teacher, Lilac & Green Class
Michelle holds a bachelor degree in child development and has worked with preschool and toddler aged children for 3 years. She is excited to work with preschool children since they learn to become more independent and ask questions. She enjoys providing support and guidance with their learning process. In her free time, she enjoys TV, music and walking her dogs.


Katie Sullivan
Toddler Lead Teacher, Coral Class
Katie is an outdoor adventurer with nearly 20 years of experience in early childcare and human development. Her reason for teaching is seeing families grow and learn together, and she feels honored to be a part of the Brella Hollywood. She is excited every day to share in family connections, a-ha moments, and the true bliss of experiencing a toddler’s laughter and joy.


Annette Cayax
Toddler Teacher, Coral Class
Annette has a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development with a focus on Early Childhood Education, and has been working with infants and toddlers for almost 7 years. She holds certifications for Special Needs, Dual-Language, Preschool and Infant/Toddler care and learning. In her free time, she likes to read, draw, visit museums, go dancing with friends, and going to Little Tokyo.


Amber Donnelly
Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher, Peach Class
Amber has been working in early childhood education for just under 5 years and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Psychology from CSUN. She has experience with school aged children, but her passion is working with the younger age group so she can watch them develop and reach milestone goals. When she isn’t teaching or attending class, she loves photography and event planning.


Crystal Basurto
Infant/Toddler Teacher, Peach Class
Crystal received her Bachelors in Child Development from California State University, and has been teaching young children since 2018. While she found her time as a Preschool Teacher very rewarding, she is thrilled to return to her passion of working with infants and toddlers. In her spare time, she enjoys going out with family and friends.


Sameyah Hill
Infant/Toddler Teacher, Peach Class
Sameyah, or “Mayah”, began as a nurse for an elementary school for children with special needs. After interacting with the children, watching them grow, flourish and reach milestones that others believed their diagnosis would prevent, it inspired her to go back to school where she took multiple ECE courses and is now completing her Bachelor Degree. In her free time, she loves craft and crochet.

Infant Lead Teacher, Rose Class
Claudia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development from Cal State University, as well as an associates degree in Arts and Sciences. She has been teaching for 7 years and feels that being an infant teacher is her greatest accomplishment. Helping them build their foundation to reach milestones and move on to the next stage in life is the highlight of her day, especially when you see their faces light up from learning a new skill.


Erica Santillan
Infant Teacher, Rose Class
Erica brings over 10+ years of early childhood education experience. She finds that focusing on infants and toddlers is rewarding because she gets to watch the children learn and grow as they achieve their developmental milestones! She also enjoys creating strong bonds and guiding children. In her off time, she enjoys tackling creative arts and crafts projects with her son & daughter.


Erica M. Aldana
Infant Teacher, Rose Class
Erica has been working in Early Childhood Education for the past 4 years and is currently working towards a Bachelors in Child Development. It brings her so much joy watching children grow and reach their developmental milestones. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, hiking, and making playlists. Fun fact: if she weren’t in this field, she would be a DJ!


Angie Oliveros
Resource Teacher
Angie has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching for 4 years. As someone who has always loved children, she is very patient, kind, and compassionate, always trying to see the positive side of every situation. She spends her free time growing and caring for plants and going out in nature.


Brittney Suarez
Part-Time Teacher
Ms. Brittney’s passion for early childhood education began many years ago as she comes from a family of educators. She continues to grow her career through workshops and connecting with early childhood experts. She is a play-based and inclusive learning advocate, and strives to create an environment where all children of all backgrounds feel safe, seen, and heard.


Tyrana Beasley
Part-Time Teacher
Tyrana a.k.a. “Teacher Ty” received her Bachelor’s of Science in Child Development and has been teaching for 5 years. She finds that watching children grow and knowing she made a difference in their lives is the most exciting part of teaching, She also loves building close relationships with the children and parents and making sure they are comfortable leaving their child in her care.


Stephanie Ruiz
Part-Time Teacher
Ms. Stephanie has a background working as an AD for a Home Daycare and as a Preschool Teacher. She truly enjoys working with children, and their creative little minds keep her wanting to learn more about their development and ways to make learning both fun and exciting. Stephanie also became a mom to a beautiful baby boy in March 2022!

I’m a musician, singer, songwriter, and teacher. I bring passion, creativity, and enthusiasm to my music classes at Brella. You can sing along to my music with your children at home

Yeraldie Nava

Ms. Yeraldie is a Cal State Northridge alumni with a BA in Early Childhood Development and has 9 years of experience working with children. She knew she wanted to work with children from a young age. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, traveling, reading, football season, and spending time with family, friends, and her fur babies.
Beatriz Lattimer
Substitute Teacher
Beatriz has been in childcare for about 17 years. Through the years she has worn several hats as a Preschool Teacher, Head Teacher, Substitute Teacher and Nanny, always striving to be the best teacher. She enjoys hiking with her husband and dog, playing with her cats, yoga, running and going to see the LA sports teams with her family.
